Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
CarCalc ("we", "us") runs free online car calculators. This policy explains what information we collect and how it is used. Questions: hello@carcalc.io.
What you enter
Tire sizes, distances, prices and other numbers you enter are calculated in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers.
Information we collect
- No accounts. You don't sign up or give us a name or email to use the calculators.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser type and request times for security and troubleshooting.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads on our pages, never inside a calculator. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit and which calculators they use, including the tire sizes compared, which helps us decide what to build next. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Your consent choices
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent message from Google with the options to accept, reject or manage cookies. Until you accept, advertising and analytics cookies are not used. If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising using the link in Google's message or in Google Ads Settings.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
